I was gonna do it, but I finally bought Pokemon Platinum today. Yep, it’s the same game as Peal/Diamond. Well, it’s slightly different, but basically, it’s the same game. As a Pokemon dude, I felt I must buy every single main pokemon game (excluding side games). I must say it is painful to play Platinum because I spend so much time (over 150 hours) on Pearl, so I just don’t wanna start all over again. And I have so many games to finish… Eh…

When I woke up in this morning, it was snowing. I do like snow, but it was quite disturbing to see snow in April.
I was browsing the baseball games in Amazon.com a little bit today because well, it is baseball season again! I think Twins is doing hometown opener tomorrow (not much of Twins fan…). Of course, I was thinking if I were to buy a baseball game, I should get Sony’s MLB ’09. I know I will not buy the baseball game, but just in case if someone put a gun to my head and threaten me if I don’t buy the baseball game, he would kill me. So, it’s nice to be prepared. I wanted to see if other baseball games are any good. So, I was checking 2K Sports’ MLB 2K9.

WTF!!!!!

I have been playing Wii Fit for a while now. I set my goal to lose -15lb by end of March. Well, that is not going to happen. So, I am kinda sad. But, I think there is no way I can lose weight just playing Wii Fit. The game is fun to play, but it’s not hard enough for me. I need more hardcore ass kicking exercise.
I was watching GOP response to the presidential address other night, and Bobby Jindal was just bad. I mean really bad. I saw him in the interviews couple times on TV, and I thought he was ok (I didn’t know he was the rising star among republicans), but his response was so weird. It really bothered me he kept saying Americans can do anything. His speech was so scripted, but I think he was trying to tell a “story,” and ended up really really really bad story telling. It was almost gross (the way he talked). Too bad for GOP…
I am kinda addicted to SingStar. I need to stop singing.

So, my TMJ hasn’t got much better. I haven’t had much of crunchy yummy treats for a while, thanks to my freaking jaw pain. Yesterday, I was finally able to make it to the TMJ clinic in the dentist school. So, the doctor was assessing my TMJ-ness, and well, it was kinda painful. He was really good at poking the most painful spots!! I ended up getting impression of my teeth, so they can make splint cos I grind teeth a lot when I am sleeping. It costs $900 to make it, and I am so hoping my insurance will cover for it!
My internship has started, and I am enjoying working at Medtronic very much. Even though it is freaking big company, the development team I am in is very tight! It’s almost like small start up company feeling. Everyone is working really hard to develop a product. I found out that our team will be moving to new big shiny building in March! Exciting!

It’s a new year. Freaking sparkling new year! I am about to start working as an intern at Medtronic, and I am freaking excited about it. Aaand, according to my plan, I am supposed to get PhD in this year, so 2009 will be good year for me (since 2008 was kinda crappy!).

It’s a Japanese Daft Punk!! Oh no!! It’s kinda addictive! It’s so awesome to listen when you are running on the treadmill! Tee-hee!! I ended up buying their album from the iTune… Ah, iTune… I hope Steve Jobs gets better soon! I am seriously considering buying iWork because I love Keynote! Just think about doing presentation with Keynote using iPhone! Ooooooooh!!

It’s finally here. Home is now open beta! Oh, what the hell is Home, you might ask. Well, well, well, Home is social communication game on PS3. It’s like Second Life, but for PS3. Sony has been working on this thing for a long loooong time, and now it’s finally here. I have been a closed beta tester for a while, and to be honest, I am not sure… It’s really cool to meet people via PS3, but the contents weren’t so great. There weren’t much things to do! I am hoping Sony will add more contents for open beta because I think Home has lots of potential. I hope it will turn out ok… Sony does need some boost for dying PS3!
Since I hate Apple’s Mighty Mouse, I bought Razor DeathAdder. I just wanted to get a mouse that is better than Mighty Mouse (well, probably any mouse!), but also, I wanted a gaming mouse. So, after googling couple hours, I was convinced that I need to buy this mouse! I must say this mouse is one of the best things I ever bought this year! The mouse is super responsive! It is just amazing! 1800 dpi is sooooo awesome! I also bought a headset because I want to maximize my WoW life. So, I ordered Sennheisher PC 151. Well, obviously, this headset is good if you own PC. But, for mac, this headset is useless. Obviously, mac is more demanding when it comes to mic-in. PC 151 did not work on my iMac… I could hear sound, but my iMac didn’t even pick up the sound through microphone. Obviously, I need some kinda amplifier to be able to use my headphone! I love Mac, but, I just do not love their weird peripheral situations! I understand Apple is a hardware company and doesn’t want other companies to stand their way, but you know, if you love me, please allow me to use a standard cheap headset with your mic-in!
I am having an interview for the internship position tomorrow. Hmmm, I know I am 99% getting this position because the guy working the company actually asked my advisor to help him out to do the research there. But, still, I need to look nice and pretend I know stuff!

*cough* *cough* I have been sick for past couple weeks. I mean sick enough to not wanting to drink any alcoholic beverages. I skipped all Halloween parties last weekend and also mixers in this weekend. I was just too sick to go out! I scheduled tons of experiments last two weeks, so I just couldn’t afford to stay home and watch HSN. I thought I got better last weekend, then I got sick again! So, as a sick person, I keep drinking teas. I was drinking green tea and realized maybe green tea is not good for a person who has a cold because it has tons of caffeine. So, I switched to hoji-tea. Hoji-tea is a type of green tea, but it contains significantly less caffeine comparing to sencha. Personally, I like hoji-cha over sencha cos I like the flavor even thought hoji-cha is much cheaper than sencha! Well, you know, I am a cheap guy.
I was checking out Japanese video game site, and I saw these cars… I mean really???

So, Little Big Planet’s release day was pushed back for one week because of some kinda sound track. I was pretty upset by this last week because I have been waiting for this game to come out for such a long time. I was kinda sad, I was kinda down, I was kinda depressed, but today I got phone call from Gamestop (I know, I know, I shouldn’t buy games from Gamestop/EBgame, but I have a gift certificate!) saying the game will be arriving tomorrow afternoon!! Yaaay! I am sooooooo getting it tomorrow!! I really wish I didn’t have to go out this weekend, but I kinda have to….stupid birthdays…
I thought it’s kinda cool Apple is officially opposing Prop 8.

Ok, so I finally reached to Lv 30 in the World of Warcraft. You know that means? Yes, now I can have my own mount! Yay!! Since I am a paladin, I don’t even have to buy one, it comes with when I trained summon spell! Yaaay!! I was playing WoW until 6am in the morning! I didn’t play WoW for several days, so I just had to. You know, I do pay $14 a month to play this game!
I like all politics. I think it’s really fun to watch this year’™s presidential campaigns. Since I am not American, I cannot vote, but it is still fun to watch. It is really sad that VP nominee lady for the Republican is really a just hockey mom. It is amazing how tight she is protected from the all media. Isn’™t she supposed to be talking? And, even she had only few interviews, she didn’t do that good job on CBS interview. I thought the interview was some kinda of joke! If I could vote, I would probably vote for Obama because, well, I am not sure if the world is ready for her as a vice president!
I pre-order Little Big Planet, and I really cannot wait this game to come out. I was lucky enough be in beta, and the game is just amazing. Sack boy is the cutest!
