I think I am really slow today. I got up around 9am, but I slept while I was watching spongebob squarepants. Lazy lazy lazy.... I started working on my programing assignment, but no idea what I am supposed to do. I guess I am gonna just email my instructor then. It is cold today too, but no snow. I have couple midterm exams in next week, so I gotta study over the weekend, yuck. I wish I can watch TV or play video game all day....lazy lazy lazy.

Super bowl Sunday. My friend Ryan called me he and his roommate are having party, so if I wanna come over and watch the game together. I am not big fan of the football, but wanted to watch the half show (U2 played!), so I went to the party. Actually, the game was pretty good. New England won in last couple seconds! By the way, what the hell is mlife !? I have seen the ads in past couple weeks, but they really don't say what mlife is. I guess I should check their website.

I went to Ryan's house before the weekly lab meeting. I was trying to drink left over beer from last night, but I only had one cup of beer. I was trying to watch Slimetime Live on Nick, but Ryan and Ben didn't like the show. I still don't know what's wrong with them. STL is awesome show! I think drinking beer on Monday isn't really good idea, especially before the boring lab meeting. Ryan was dying in the meeting. Now, I can administer neuropsychetric paper test...yuppie.. After the meeting, I had to go to FineArt building to print out my blue rope poster. I am gonna post my blue rope posters here soon. I don't know, but some reasons, I like FineArt building. The smell is different from other buildings! But, I hate working on Mac because Mac is the way too slow! and not programer friendly...

I got free peanuts butter M&M today! Well, actually, Connie gave it to me because she lost bet. Well, actually, I kinda cheated it. Well, but I actually won anyway, so free M&M is good even though it makes me fat old dude. When I left my M&M in the lab, someone ate it without my permission!! I suspect Whitmyer Ph.D. ate my M&M because he is a philosopher. In the way to go home, I stopped by Target and bought paper towel. When I lived in Japan, I had never used paper towel because we usually use kitchen towel to clean sink, kitchen table or whatever. I think paper towel is such a wasting the resource because you eventually throw all away. But but but, I love it. I cannot clean the kitchen without it. I was gonna buy bath salt, but I just couldn't browse the store with holding huge 6 pack of paper towels. I will get bath salt next time I go to the mall or wherever I can get bath salt.

Today was a great day. I had only one class, but the professor didn't show up, so we all left. In the lab, Abbey asked me if I wanna come with her to yoga class which she always goes. I have never done yoga before, so I went with her to figure out if I like it or not. I think yoga is pretty cool stuff. I really enjoyed it. After yoga class, Abbey shopped by her house to take her dog out from the crate. I really like her dog. He is so cute! I was so hungry, but I had to work at the lab. Currently, I am working at two different labs (infant motor development lab, psychopathlogy and neuropsychometory lab). I think I do enjoy working both labs. Anyway, after we finished running experiment, Ryan and I went to Irish Lion (I guess Irish restaurant...) to get some foods. Ryan was cranky because he was extremely hungry. I have a exam tomorrow, so I guess I am gonna study tonight. By the way, Dr. Whitmyer got parking ticket..yuppie!!

I woke up with the pain in this morning. I think I must use the muscles which I don't usually use doing yoga. Ooooooh, my own dojoooo. Anyway, I had a exam for my criminal investigation class in the evening, so I wanted to study for it, but I had classes pretty much all day today, so really couldn't find good time to study. At the lab, I was asking lots of things about American law to people, and Whitmyer Ph.D was actually pretty good at answering my questions. I think he watches too much "Law&Order" or has been actually arrested before...well, I really don't want to know. I think I did okay on the exam. There are always couple questions you aren't sure when you are taking exam. Especially, if you make a correction on true/false question, your first answer tends to be right. I hate true/false question. Every time I think I did well on exam, I get B or B-. Life isn't easy.

9am ~ 4pm. I was working at the lab from 9am in the morning till 4pm today. I was supposed to leave there at noon, but subjects kept coming in, the phone kept ringing, and there were not so many lab staffs. I just couldn't leave because I am responsible man. Yeah! Running the experiment isn't that hard. It just takes forever to finish. We have to just watch the EEG on computer screen for about an hour. It is boring job. Ryan was telling every subject about this website. He also remembered every sentence I am writing here. Don't you have anything to do except checking my website million times a day, Ryan?

It's here. I finally got Virtua Fighter 4 (VF4), well, I got bags of green tea too. Thanks mom. When I was still in high school, I played VF2 every single day at the arcade. When VF2 came to Sega Saturn, I played VF2 at home and at arcade every single day. I have no idea how much money I spend on VF2. It was the happiest my old days. Now, VF4 is on Sony Playstation. I had never though I can play VF series on Playstation. PS2 version of VF4 is just awesome. Graphic is just amazing and game play is really good. VF is often compared with Tekken series, and I think Tekken is more popular than VF in the U.S. But I love VF. VF is much much better than Tekken! I know I am gonna play VF4 all this weekend...yeah!!

I wanted to play VF4 all day today too, but I thought it might be a bad idea to play video game all day. So, I just played an hour, then started working on my programming assignment. Of course, I did not finish it. Since I was playing VF4 all yesterday, I didn't check my mailbox. I didn't know the DVD I ordered from Amazon.com was in the mailbox. I ordered Japanese animation "Night on the Galactic Railroad." I watched this movie when I was 3rd or 4th grade and I absolutely loved it. I was really glad that this movie came on DVD here. The original story is written by Kenji Miyazawa. I love his stories. He wrote lots of stories for children, but they are really good. I even brough his book when I came to the US. Every time I read his book, it cheers me up alot. Now, I have this movie and VF4! Life is good.

For some reasons, I didn't feel good all day today. I was trying to cheer up myself (ordered pizza at the lab, having couple beers before the lab meeting..etc), but I didn't feel any better. I had to do my programming assignment, but I am not sure I programmed right. I had cups of greentea while I was programming, and greentea kinda made me feeling better. I guess I am Japanese.

Finally, I got casters for my chair which I bought at IKEA in last summer! I bought this chair, but IKEA didn't have its casters at that time. So, I couldn't use this chair until today. When Andrew went back home last weekend, I asked him to go to IKEA and get the casters. I am really really glad he could buy the casters. Also, he volunteered for the experiment which Eliane (one of the post doc in the lab) is doing today. Well, sounds like Andrew is wonderful guy, but he is not that great because when I stole his apple today, he called me a@# h#@*! Hummm. Anyway, thanks Andrew for the casters, being volunteer, and letting me steal your apple.

Yoga day. I went to yoga with Abbey for second time. I think I really like yoga. It's relaxing and fun. When we stopped by Cate's office, I even got V-days cookies there. After I refreshed my body and soul, I went to the lab. Actually, we didn't have any subjects today, so I was just annoying people at the lab. Andrew and I were watching the couple banned ads at ifilm. I really liked the Dildo Song. Yay yay! This evening, it was Ryan's turn to be a subject for Eliane's research. I hope he had as much fun as Andrew had. We went to Tibetan restaurant after that. We got free dessert because today is Tibetan new year's day (I didn't know that). It was really nice they gave us free dessert, but the dessert wasn't really nice. I guess free stuffs can be expensive sometime...

Valentine day. When I got to the lab, Dr. Whitmyer and Abbey were going to the store to get bath stuffs. Since I was looking for buying bath salt, I joined them. I bought bath salt. After we got back to the lab, Chris, Whitmyer PhD, and I went to Nick's for lunch. It was my first time to eat foods there. I though their foods weren't bad. Of course, I had a glass of Guinness. I was pretty happy happy joy joy after the lunch, but boring programming classes made me really really unhappy unhappy not joy joy. Also, I had a class from 5:45pm. Actually, the class was pretty interesting because we had a guest lecture from the investigating unit at BPD. She showed us lots of crime scene slides. I didn't know after a person dies and is left for a week, the skin starts slipping off from the body. The pictures we saw in the class were pretty graphic, but I liked them. By the way, I do not like Valentine day!

I think today was pretty bad day for me even though I didn't have any classes. I have so less energy! However, in the evening, I had to discuss about our presentation on next Monday with Steve and Brandon. We are supposed to talk about Intel's new chipset Itanium, but I have no idea why Itanium is so cool. After we talked about the presentation, Steve and Brandon started playing wrestling game. Yuck. I like video game, but not wrestling game! Steve and Brandon were destroying their friendship with playing the game. I hope I won't lose any friends tomorrow at my first annual video game slumber party.

Nora day. We went to Nora library at Indy to do experiments. We scheduled 6 babies, but only 3 babies showed up. Not good. But the way to go back, we stopped by the store which has British stuffs. Chris and Kelly seemed to be very happy with shopping there! I bought Piccalilli. Piccalilli is so awesome! Love it!

Last night, Ryan and I had the first annual video game slumber party at Ryan's house. Yep, very geeky. I've been doing what my friends want to do in the weekend (going to the bar, strip club etc...), so this weekend, I wanted to do what I like to do which is playing video game all night. I wasn't really expecting to see people to show up, but, surprisingly, people showed up to the party! We played mainly Virtua Fighter 4 and Dance Dance Revolution. DDR is just great party game. I think it was fun night. I hope people had fun too.

Blue Monday. I had to give group presentation at my computer architecture class in this morning. The presentation went pretty bad, especially my part. I talked about Intel's Itanium processor. Itanium is long waited 64-bit processor and it just came out last year. Of course, I had no knowledge about Itanium and I don't know why I signed up for this topic. Anyway, it's over. Who cares about Itanium awfully large register files! At the lab meeting, I guess we had a brain dissection, but I couldn't make it to the meeting because I had to go to the review session for my programing class. Suuuuuuck!! I was really looking forward to do brain dissection since last semester! Oh well, good thing was I stopped by Laughing Planet and got steamed veggies with black beans, cheese, and tofu for dinner. I was supposed to study for tomorrow's exam, but, I accidently watched E! True Hollywood Story because the story was about the Brady Bunch! How could I miss it!

Exam day. I had a exam for my programming class in this after noon. I don't think I did well on the exam. Most of the topics I studied weren't on the exam. Waaaaack. I felt the exam didn't reflect the things we have been doing (homework, quizzes, lectures). Well, I am hoping I can get B for today's exam. After the exam, I had a subject coming in. The experiment went really well. The baby's parents were cool too. All parents who are willing to volunteer are really cool. I have two babies scheduled for tomorrow, so tomorrow will be so awesome!

Rainy day. The moment I woke up in this morning, I knew the subjects are not coming because of the weather. As I though, we got phone calls from both moms to cancel the appointments. Booooo. But, we reschedule, so it's not that bad. But but but, I had to cancel my hair cut appointment on this Friday from 1:45pm because we rescheduled one of the baby at 1pm on Friday. I really really needed to get hair cut, so I tried to reschedule my hair appointment on later Friday or Saturday. They had opening 3pm today, so I took that and got hair cut. It did make me happy to get a hair cut, but I do not like my new hair cut!! Boooo!!

Cold and long day. I was trying to take couple of pictures of lab members, so I can finish making website over this weekend. But I couldn't find any of members I need to take picture. It was pretty wasting time to stop by the lab. I got an exam back from the programming class, and I didn't do well. I just don't get why I lost 15 points on the question 1 because most of the lines are correct. Oh well, I know the instructor hates me because I hate him.

Butt day. I went to the health center on campus after having pain in my butt for a month. Well, it's not really butt itself, it's tail bone or something like that. The doctor told me it is common for a person who is thin to get hurt these bones. It was kinda relieved to know that, but I had to show my butt to the doctor which wasn't cool. He prescribed anti-inflammatory and antibiotic because I may have some infections with my butt area! I think the antibiotic really gives me a drowsiness. I always get pretty bad side effects from the medication, especially drowsiness. I tried several different medications for my allergy, but I couldn't continue taking of them because of side effect. I used to take lots of asthma medicines when I was a kid and I was fine with them! I hate taking drugs (legal & illegal)...

Could be Studying day. I was trying to study after I watched spongebob, but instead of studying, I accidentally played video game. I tried again to study after I played video game, but I accidentally went to grocery shopping! Of course, I tried to study after I came back from the grocery store, but I accidentally started cooking lasagne. After I ate lasagne, I tried to study, but I accidentally watched trading space on TLC. I like this show alot. After I accidentally watched 3 episodes of trading space, I accidentally watched mad tv on fox. Now, it's is time for me to go to the bed. Very typical Saturday.

Cookie day. I baked cookies in this after noon because I felt I should bake them. I think I did okay with baking cookies. In the weekend, I often cook alot. I like cooking because it's fun. I was trying to eat left over lasagne from last night, but there is no way I can finish this, and I am sick of eating this. Well, I think I will eat it for my dinner... yuck!

Super ultra blue Monday. I was analyzing the data pretty much all after noon today, but it didn't look right. I only looked at one baby, so I should look another baby, but I gotta present some data tomorrow. I have no idea what I am gonna talk about. Also, I couldn't finish my programming assignment. But, we did sheep brain dissection during the lab meeting. It was pretty cool. Andrew (a.k.a Andy) was yelling at me during we were dissecting the brain because I was playing with the brain. I really though he needed to be relaxed and be more playful. The brain is fun to play with. He also asked me how come I accidentally made lasagne on Sat. I don't know. I guess that's why it was "accident." Relax Andy.

Snow day. It was snowing all day today. I like snow alot because snow is fun. So, snow day was supposed to make me happy happy joy joy, but I was pretty down today. I had to present the data which I have been working on so hard. I just found out I cannot use most of the data I analyzed yesterday. Sucks. Ryan came over and we just ordered pizza for dinner. I am hungry.

Snow and cold day2. I do still like snow. I also like cold weather because I feel the air is cleaner. However, I forgot to take pills in this morning, so my butt wasn't doing great. I just don't like the fact I am having butt pain. It's not just cool! I wish I had a headache or chest pain because they are cooler then butt pain. Also, I don't mind to show my chest or head to the doc.

Busy day. In the criminal investigation class, the professor hypnotized us. It was really cool. After I got back from the school, I played DDR for about an hour and really got sweat. So, I finally took a bath with bath salt. I bought this bath salt about 2 or 3 weeks ago, but never used it. I think bath salt is awesome. The smell was pretty good. Mmmmmm, I felt like a princess!
