Yesterday, I had a dinner with Priyada. I had not seen her for a while, so it was nice to see her. After we had a dinner, we went to Woodfied mall for shopping. We checked lots clothes, but we didn't buy anything! But, the shopping really made us tired, and we were too tired to go out. But but, we went to Urban Outfitters in this morning because Priyada wanted to buy some clothes. Although she works at Urban Outfitters in Evanston, she was saying it is kinda hard shop there after she gets off from the work. So, she wanted to go the Urban Outfitters in Lincoln Park. I had to leave the store before she finished her shopping because I had a lunch date from noon. Of course, I was late. I felt awful because I was the one told him that I wanna meet up at noon! Anyway, the date went pretty bad. I think it was the worst date I ever had. Every conversation we had just didn't flow at all! Oh well, I am 100 % sure we're never gonna meet each other again!

I am tired.

I just realized that I am taking GRE and TOEFL next week! Maaaan, I am not so ready! I was doing TOEFL practice problems on the web and they were hard! TOEFL sucks!

My god. I was working on the GRE practice test, and the score I got was horrible! Especially, I really really have to work on the verbal section! I have no vocabulary because I am fucking international student!

So, I was memorizing words for GRE all night last night because I was too anxious to go to sleep. Since my brain wasn't really working, I am not sure if I still remembered words I was memorizing. I am getting tired of studying for GRE because I know I can do pretty well on quantitative, so I don't have to worry about it, but for verbal section, there is no way I can do better even if I study 24 hours a day until the test date. I am so unhappy right now!! I haven't been this much unhappy since I broke up with my ex!! I am pretty sure I can inspire a poet to write about unhappiness!! But but, I had one good thing today. I could download the song I have been trying to download past couple weeks. The song is pretty old Japanese pop song and I was dying to listen to. I was little bit less unhappy when I finally could download entire song today.

I finally went shopping today. Ugh! Andrew called in this afternoon to see what I was doing. I was studying for GRE (of course!), but I suggested him that maybe we could go to the OakBrook Center. Surprisingly, he thought it was a good idea to go shopping, so we teamed up (!?) at the mall. I know I am not supposed to shop, but I had to shop today. I bought sweater from J.Crew because it was on sale. When I saw this sweater in the store, I thought it's kinda cute. But, after I came home and looked, I wasn't sure if I really wear this sweater. I wanted to buy $150 sweater because the sweater was so soft and cute. But, of course, I didn't buy it. I really like sweaters because I just like them. There are so man different kinds of style and fabric available, and it's fun to wear all different kind of sweaters! Andrew was buying black shirt (of course), and marine blue shirt at Express Men. I told him he should buy different color, but he didn't listen to meeeeee!! But he was also buying wine red sweater, so I guess that's alright. I think my dream is Andrew is wearing purple shirt and singing "hit me baby one more time."

I couldn't study today! I was trying to focus on studying GRE, but I think I got to the point there is nothing I can do to prepare for GRE. I mean I still could do more practice test or memorizing words, but I just couldn't do it anymore. Although I did memorize lots of words, there are just too many words out there! I think people can get high score on verbal section gotta be vocabulary geek! Ok, I think I am gonna do one more practice test before I go to the bed!

I finally took GRE today. Of course, I couldn't sleep last night at all. Although I tried so hard to memorize all words, only few words I memorized showed up on the test! Fuck! I also couldn't think well because of lack of sleeping...especially, reading problems. I was soooo upset because I didn't have enough time for verbal section. As a result, my score for verbal section was sooooo awful. It did make me feel I studied for nothing! However, for quantitative section, I did super well. I mean really really well. Since I have no idea how well I did on writing section and how grad admission people use my score, there is nothing I can do. And I am taking TOEFL on this Thursday because I couldn't reschedule. I am so unhappy.

Ooooh, so tired. I took TOEFL on Thursday and I think I did okay, but not sure. I think this week was pretty hectic week because I took both GRE and TOEFL. I studied more then I studied for finals when I was in the college! But, actually, studying for TOEEFL was kinda fun. I learned a lot of weird English sentence structures. Now, only I need to do is finishing up my personal statement. I am hoping to finish writing it over this weekend, and I think I can do it because I bought lots of food and ice cream yesterday and I slept alot. I feel like a new person!

I didn't know how cold outside was until I went out for getting a quarter in my car. There was even snow covered on the ground! I guess we had snow last night. I was trying to work on the personal statement, but I ended up with doing nothing. Well, actually, I was cleaning my room all day because I hadn't cleaned my room for a while. I think I like cleaning because I like to see the room getting cleaner. I think I can be Mr. Clean.

I kinda finished writing the personal statement. I emailed my statement to my professor because I wanted feedback. She actually liked it, and it made me very happy. I was watching tech tv as usual, and there was a news that Segway is now on sale at amazon.com. It cost $4950. I am not sure if people really buy this thing. Also, I don't think Segway will take over the streets... By the way, I found this site when I was browsing the internet. I think this site is so hilarious.

For some reasons, I have no money!! I mean I have no cash! I am going to Bloomington in this weekend, so I can pick up transcripts and hopefully recommendation letters. But, but, at IU, they don't take visa card! So, I have to pay by check which isn't pleasant payment method for me! I already asked my dad to send me extra cash twice in this month. But, I guess I have to call my dad and beg for his mercy....sucks.

Last night, I found this site (sorry it's Japanese!) which I can buy old PC game and download into my computer!! Yaaay! I was so excited when I found the game called "BURAI." I loved this game so much when I was in 5th grade because all characters were soooooo coooooool. So, I paid about $5 and downloaded the game. The game itself is pretty crappy comparing to other games out there right now. But, I still like it! It's sooo much fun. I cannot wait to download other games such as Ys series! By the way, my brother send me picture of my kitty. I think he took this picture with his cell phone. I miss my kitty.

I went to Bloomington over the weekend. I got there on Thursday night and stayed two nights at Ryan's house. Ryan was still living in the lovely dinning area and doing a pizza delivery boy. Hmmm, well, I guess it's better than being unemployee like me. I was dead tired when I got there because I couldn't sleep at all on Wednesday night. I was hoping to get some sleep at his house, but, of course, Ryan's house was cold like a mug! I think Pat and Doug have some kind of body temperature control irregularity. Doug was cooking turkey all Friday afternoon for the potluck party. At the party, everyone seemed to enjoy it. I am 120% sure he will be great house dad. I could stay longer, but I came back here yesterday. Priyada and I went out to the dance club called White Star. It wasn't bad dance club, but I didn't like it because I had to pay $20 for the admission, there were only few guys dressing up nicely. Now, I am on the mission to find my club!!

Today, Square and Enix announced that they will merge in next April. Aaaaaaaaaah! I think this is the one of the most shocking news in my life. I have been playing Square's Final Fantasy series since I was 12 years old, and FF is the one of my favorite games. Also, Enix's Dragon Quest series are my favorite game. I just cannot believe these two rival companies are getting merged. I just don't see why they have to merge. This sucks!

It's snowing! Yappieeeee!! Well, not really. I went to the grocery store called Mitsuwa, which has tons of Japanese stuff. Because of snow, it took me almost an hour to get to the store. I had never been to this store because I didn't know the existence of the store. I was really excited when I saw sashimi konnyaku (....well, yam cake?? I guess) in the store because I love that thing! I also bought Japanese junk food called takenoko no sato. I love that too!! I bought natto, smelly fermented soy beans, for Matt because I remember that he wants to try it out. I have never met Americans who actually like natto because of its smell, even my brother and my dad hate it. It's gonna be fun to watch Matt eating natto!

Happy birthday to me. Today is my birthday, and I am not happy with that at all. It just sucks to get old. I was pretty upset today because my parents didn't call me. They usually don't call me so often, but I really think they should call me or email me today saying "happy birthday son" or something like that. I assume that they don't call me because they know I would say "so, where is my gift?" if they call me. Oh well. But, there were lots of spongebob episodes today, so they kinda made me happy. I went to Trader Joe's to pick up some wines for tomorrow. I really didn't have to go there to get wine, but I like Trader Joe's. But, I am still not sure why all employees are wearing aloha shirt. Weird.

Happy Thanksgiving (I mean yesterday)! La la la~. I went to Melissa&Matt house to do some thanksgiving stuff (no more stuffs). Since they also don't eat meat, I got to eat everything on the table! Yaaaay!! The meal was pretty good, and I think I ate alot because I was drinking. We watched "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" after the dinner (lunch??) The movie was hilarious! By the time we finished watching movie, I was pretty drunk. I got back to my place around 6pm or 7pm and just passed out. Now, I woke up 5am in the morning and I feel great!

Happy post Thanksgiving day! La la la~. Post Thanksgiving = Shopping. So, I went to north Michigan ave to shop. I knew what I wanted to buy, jeans. Yes, I really need new pair of jeans. I was hoping to find good Diesel or Levis jeans. However, I couldn't find jeans which were my size!! They were just the way too big for me! I was so mad because I was soooooo ready to buy jeans. But, I did buy sweater and other stuff at Urban Outfitters. I was sure if I go to Diesel or Levis store, I could find my size, but I wanted to shop at Urban because right now, I get 40% off for everything. After I shopped at Urban, I went to Bloomingdales to see if Fred Perry stuff were on sale. Surprisingly, they were, indeed, on sale!! All Fred Perry clothes were 50% off!! I was screaming inside, but I pretended to be I was just checking things out at the store. I just couldn't believe they were 50% off!! I could buy all Mr. Perry clothes, but I only bought polo shirt and sports jacket. It was just too good to be true. It was my happiest day in my life.

Happy post post Thanksgiving day! La la la~. Post post Thanksgiving day = more shopping. I went to Urban near by my house today because I couldn't find jeans at Urban in downtown. Of course, they had same jeans as downtown store has, but they had my size! Yaaaay! I tried both Levis and Diesel jeans to see which one I like. Usually, I prefer Levis jeans because I have been big fan of Levis jeans (well, most Japanese are) since I was a kid, and never bought Diesel jeans. When I tried on both jeans, I actually liked Diesel jeans better because it did fit me better and look better. So, I bought my very first Diesel jeans. I also could find another pair of jeans I liked. I think my happiest day is still going!
