Okay, I know I haven't been updating blog. It's all because of FFXI!! Damn FFXI!! Anyway, here are things happened past couple days!

Halloween night: Andrew was in the town over the weekend, so I dragged him to go to Priyada's house on Friday night. She told me that the party we were planning to go was cancelled, so we all hung out at her house. I was not happy with just hanging out at her house, but it turned out okay. I hadn't been hanging out with Jessica and Cecelia, so it was all good. Of course, I did dress up as a cowboy!!

Sunday madness: I went to the new best buy store near my apartment. I was looking for new hardrive, but I ended up with buying new graphic card and FFXI! It took 2 hours to install FFXI, but it was worth waiting!! You have to be online to play this game, but it is so much fun! I could play all night, but I felt I should be socialized, so I called up Laura to see if she wanted to get some drinks. She called me back after she had a dinner at her friend's house and asking me where we could go for a drink. I wanted to go to Monsoon, but she was very excited about the idea going to the gay bar for the first time. So, Laura, her friend, and I went to Sidetrack which is very gay bar. It was raining and it was Sunday night, so there were only gay men in the bar. Of course, we didn't care and just kept talking and drinking! Laura was having a blast time with talking to gay guys. Well, good for you Laura!

Shopping like a mug: I finally went shopping with Melissa yesterday. I didn't have a class yesterday, so we went to WoodField mall in Schaumberg to check stuff out. I had $15 banana republic gift certificate, so I got a sweater I had wanted to buy. Melissa was looking for cool poncho, but she couldn't find what she wanted. But, we were having super fun time (I think) together! After shopping around in suburb, we made burritos and margarita at her house. I wish Matt were there, but he was on the business trip to New England. We had lots of margarita and lots of chips and salsa too!! Of course, we kept talking like a mug!! I really missed hanging out with Melissa, so it was so goooooooood like a mug!!

FFXI again: I just played FFXI today. Well, I did go to the gym in the morning, but other than that, I couldn't stop playing it. One thing I don't like FFXI is it is kinda hard to earn gils. Although I have been beating lots of monsters, I only have 80 gils!! I cannot buy anything!

Well, I am so in trouble. I barely managed to go to the gym in this morning. I bought a game pad yesterday. Now, I don't have to use mouse to play FFXI! My life got so much easier!! I was playing FFXI until 4am last night, and of course, as soon as I got back from the gym, I started playing it again. Not good sign. But, I could complete one mission and several quests. Yaaaaay!! And, now, I have some money to buy new armor and weapon. Oh oh, and I got a new painting for my mog house too! I am sooooooo loser!! But, that's okay because you are on confusedgeek.com!

Yeah, I did it again. I did play FFXI pretty much all day today. I skipped going to the gym to play FFXI, I skipped going to UPS store to play FFXI, I skipped studying to play FFXI, I even skipped meal to play FFXI. Somebody help me!! I am just glad that I am meeting up with my friends tonight, so I cannot play FFXI tonight.

By the way, Matt got promoted. Now he is 24/7 design guy for Intelligentsia. The picture is me being happy for him in FFXI. Yeah, I gotta stop playing this game.

Friday night, I had a dinner with friends from the program. We went to Joy's (Thai restaurant), and I had lots of wine cos Laura brought her own wine and Michelle and Mike got couple wines too. I felt Laura and I were drinking most of the wines... Yeah, of course. Anyway, after we had dinner, we went to Irish pub near by my house. I always wanted to go to this pub, but I had never been there before. The pub was alright, but I spilled my precious Guinness, and Laura got all wet! Well, she didn't get wet, her pants got wet. We went to another bar after that, but I didn't like the bar because people weren't that nice. But, I had a fun, so it was all good.

There was a design show going on at Merchandise Mart over the weekend. So, Laura and I went there today. It is called Chicago Design Show, but it's basically expensive designers furniture exhibit. I really liked last time I went to this exhibit, so I was really looking forward to go to the show. I was pretty impressed when I got there because there were much more exhibitors than last show I went. Also, there was huge food area and even there were cooking performances every hour. Sooo cool. I saw lots of cool furniture, but of course, they were super expensive. I cannot wait to go to next year's show!!
I am really impressed by myself because I haven't played FFXI for two days!! I am sooooo good!!

I registered classes for next semester today. Well, actually, I am really not happy with classes. I was trying to make an appointment with my advisor, but she hasn't emailed me back yet even though I emailed her last Friday morning! I am thinking to switch to community counseling program instead of doing school counseling, so I really really need to talk about it with someone!! Grrrrrr. I really started hating Loyola. Also, I needed to pick up my certification of enrollment today, so I went to registration/record office. My dad has asked me to fax it and send it to him, so I told a lady there that I needed to pick up my certification and it needed to be faxed. I was waiting for about 20 mins there even though I ordered it two weeks ago!! Aaaand, the lady who was trying to fax certification to my dad's office didn't know how to fax! Well, maybe she knew how to fax, but she didn't know how to fax to Japan. I couldn't believe that she actually couldn't fax it to Japan.... She tried couple times and said "well, I did try." I really think Loyola is the one fucked up school.

I decided to go on diet until the end of this month because I feel I have been eating stupid junk foods so much. Also, I think I am gonna stop drinking too. Mmmm, well, maybe I will do it until my birthday!! Yeah my birthday is coming! I am so depressed about that! Anyway, I hope I can lose some of body fat!

We were supposed to review audio tapes from practice counseling session in the counseling skill class, but Michelle's tape didn't get reviewed because our AI thought it was not propriate to share that tape with group. I played her client in that session and I think talked too much about myself. I wanted her to practice her skill, so I talked about my personal stuff. I guess I talked too much about it! I felt kinda bad for her because her tape didn't get reviewed. But, actually, the professor will review the tape for her instead of our process group. Well, lucky her then...

Yaaay! I am drunk. Someone is playing one more time and I feel dancing! Hahahahaha!! Right now, I am at Priyada & Josh's place and everyone is pretty drunk! Aaaahhh, good time. I was supposed to work on my fucking papers, but hey, it's Friday! I don't care!

I am super exhausted! I stayed over at Priyada’s house Friday night because I was too drunk to drive back home! Actually, three of us (me, Fernando, Cecilia) stayed at their house, but there was only one sofa bed… I had to sleep on the floor!! I wanted to study yesterday, but Priyada and Josh were having a party (again) last night, so, I couldn't study that much. I came home around 2pm yesterday afternoon and studied until 6pm. Then, went back to Priyada's house to party.....yeah! I was still tired and really didn't feel like drinking beer. So, I brought ram and mix, and it was very good! I was making mix drink all night because people kept asking me to make more. I did feel I was hosting the party! Of course, three of us (again) stayed over because we love slumber party! Now, I have tons of stuff to do.

I was sooo tired all day today. I think that's because I went to the bed pretty late last night and couldn't really have good sleep. I was asking myself "Do I really want to go to the gym today??" for an half hour in this morning. Of course, I did go to the gym because that's what I do in the morning! But, of course, I didn't have a good workout because I was super ultra tired. I tried to go to the class on time, but I was 30 mins late.... In the class, I was just spacing out for 2.5 hours. I wanted to cheer myself up, so I went shopping between classes. At Bloomingdales, all shoes were 30% off, so I bought two pair of shoes. Yeah!!! My new shoes did cheer me up for sure! But, now I am tired from all shopping I did. Damn.

I realized going on diet is really hard thing to do, especially if you like alcohol! I gotta stop drinking for sure, but it is so hard to stop drinking! In this evening, I went to Public I because they were having a party there. I was trying to not drink, but I couldn't help it. But, I did choose light beers! I wanted to eat cake, but I could manage to not eat that piece of cake. Good job ken!!!

My birthday&Thanksgiving are a week from today! See, every week I decide to go on diet, I have something I have to eat or drink. Like last week, I had to go to the party at Priayda's house and ate tons of stuff and drink tons. I guess I have been pretty good this week, I don't feel that bad. I am just gonna run like a mug and get ready for my b-day and t-day!

As you may know, I am currently on diet. I realized that the amount of alcohol I am taking is preventing my diet, so I decided to not drink any alcohol until Thanksgiving. It was soooooo hard to not drink over the weekend because I have tons of beers in my refrigerator, and seriously, they are talking to me!! I thought maybe I was hallucinating, but I did hear that they were saying “Kenny, drink me, driiiink meeeeee!” Also, I have cut off any junk foods which wasn’t that difficult because I don’t eat lots of junk foods anyway. I added more cardiovascular excises in my daily workout schedule, so I can burn more fat. I am on diet because I gained 5lb in past couple weeks and I wanna eat&drink to die on Thanksgiving.

I was playing FFXI all this weekend to get going out and drinking temptations off. My character (spongebob) finally reached level 11 today!! Yaaaay!! Well, he is still level 11, but now I can equip better armor, boots, helmet, etc etc!! I am gonna so beat third mission!!!

It was snowing in this morning. Yeah, it has been pretty cold day. I wanted to go to the gym in this morning, but I couldn't go because of my lack of sleep. Last night, I couldn't sleep at all because....I don't know! I went to the bed around midnight, so I can get up and go to the gym in the morning. But, I was just up all night. I ran 5.5 miles yesterday, so I think my body should be tired. I guess I was just too excited about being 27 in this week!!! Oh well.

It's Thanksgiving weekend! Yaaaay!! Well, not really. I hate Thanksgiving weekend because it is my birthday weekend too! My birthday happens to be around Thanksgiving. In this year, my birthday was, indeed, Thanksgiving day. Ugh! Last year, my birthday was a day before Thanksgiving. Now, I am one step closer to death. Because Matt and Melissa don't care too much about Thanksgiving, they didn't go back home for Thanksgiving, so I had Thanksgiving dinner with them (well, we did thanksgiving together last year too). Before I went to their house, I went to the gym, so I could burn some serious calories before I consumed tons of foods. I was surprised when I saw lots of people working out at the gym.....even though I went there 10am in the morning!! I ran for 45 mins which about 5.5 miles run. In this year, Matt and Melissa bought tofu turkey which was pretty good. I was kinda scared that tofu turkey did taste like turkey. After we had a dinner, we went to Heather's house where, again, lots of foods were waiting for us. I kept eating pie and cake until I felt sick. Although I ate a lot, I did not gain weight. Actually, I lost weight! Oh well, I guess that's good for me. I lost 7lb for 10 days, but I am not happy with it because I was expecting to lose 3-5lb, not 7lb!! I am definitely losing my beautiful muscles!!!! Aaaaaah!!
