Well, yeah, I am still sick. Indeed, I had to go to the ER yesterday because my fever just didn’t go down and found out that I have pneumonia. I had to skip my class, work, internship, and other fun stuff. I couldn’t go outside, so I couldn’t deposit cash from my dad to my bank here, and ending up with paying fucking $83 over drafting fees. I couldn’t even work on my lovely computer, so I couldn’t pay my bills, and now they are all past dues. Not cool at all.

Seriously, pneumonia sux. You cough like a mug, your lungs hurt, mucus is super gross, and fever is going up like a spring break! I was trying to find someone to escort me to the ER, but it was early morning, and I just couldn’t wait someone to return my call. So, I just walked to the ER. Yeah, I fucking walked to the ER while I was having 102 degree fever. Not cool. I thought I was gonna pass out on the street! Well, the ER was only couple blocks from my apt, so it wasn’t that bad.

At the ER, people kinda treated me like a crap. There was no other patient except me, but I had to wait million years to see the doctor. She was like “oh, maybe you just have bad cold. So, nothing I can do. Just rest well.” I was like “are you fucking kidding me??” Of course, I didn’t say that. After she checked my chest x-ray, she seemed to be surprised to see I was actually having pneumonia. She told me that “oh, you have pneumonia. Let’s bring another doctor.” I hate being sick, but for that moment, I felt a little bit of satisfaction and was like “Huh! I told you, I am fucking sick!!” Another doctor was really nice guy, and he even brought me a cup of water. He told me that I should get iv, but I refused to get one because the room was super cold, people there weren’t that nice, and I just wanted to go home. So, he gave me prescription and let me go.

On the way back, I stopped by Walgreen to get my antibiotics. Well, it took me fucking 20 mins to get my meds because they had trouble with contacting my insurance company. Ugh. I was so not feeling well and was pissed, so I just told them I would pay no matter how much the antibiotics cost. Then, the pharmacy lady told me it would cost $50. $50!! Fucking $50!! She put me in 20mins of pain for just fucking $50!! I was very pissed, but I was nice.

Finally, I got back, I realized that I ran out of all my underwear because I had to change my underwear every hour. So, I was forced to do laundry. Yes, I did the laundry. I had to use stairs to get to the laundry room because the elevator has been broken (for fucking a month!) Yeah, I was carrying my laundry from 5th floor to 1st floor. Seriously, I cursed my apartment! Well, at least I am feeling much much better in this evening, it’s all good now!

Donkey Konga!! Teeeheeeeee!! I finally got my Donkey Konga today. I pre-ordered it from amazon.com, and it came today! DK is so much fun because I get to play game with bongos! I was playing it for couple hours in this afternoon, but I had to stop playing it cos I was getting tired of clapping my hands. So, I switched to Resident Evil Zero. Ummm, I could play pokemon, but I didn’t feel like becoming pokemon trainer today, so I didn’t play it. Well, I might play later though.

I think I am finally getting over this stupid pneumonia thingy. I am glad, but I am sad cos I cannot do Chicago Marathon this Sunday. I feel like I can, but I think I shouldn’t because I really don’t wanna go back to the sicky days! I am sad cos my $75 wont come back to me!!

Ooh, I just realized that this weekend is gonna be long one. Yay!

So, I went to the Chucky Cheese for the first time. Josh wanted to have his 30th birthday there, and actually he did have one there! Actually, it was really fun. We danced with Chucky and ate pizza and cake. Of course, we played games too! Good time!

I went to the gym in this morning. Well, I hadn’t been to the gym for 3 weeks because I was sick. I wasn’t sure if I should excise because I don’t think I am fully recover from pneumonia. But, I felt really really gross and fat and no good, so I went to the gym anyway. I didn’t do any cardio, just lifted some weights. Well, I was stunned that I couldn’t lift weight at all!! Ugh! After I came back from the gym, I was so tired and didn’t feel well. So, I took 8 hours nap! Crazy!! I did watch new episode of Spogebob though. But, I missed Sealab 2021. Ugh!

Ouch. I am in pain. All my body muscle is hurting like a mug. In general, I do not like working out at all, and top of that, I hadn’t been working out for three weeks. So, I was miserable at the gym yesterday. If I use scale 1 to 10 to describe my miserableness, it was 12!! Now, I am having body ache because of stupid work out, great. Maybe you are wondering why I work out if I hate so much, well, the answer is simple, I just don’t wanna become obese. I found out that I gained weight even though I had been sick for more than two weeks!! Madness!!! I can easily come up with more than 10 reasons why I should not gain weight. I might be a little bit OCD thingy going on when it comes to diet & excise, but better than just letting myself becoming biggy and chunky!! Because I was so fearful becoming obese, I went to the gym today too. I was in pain, but I worked on other muscle groups I didn’t excise yesterday. I decided that I will lose 10lb by next month. I think I am not drinking any alcoholic beverage for a while!

When I was walking outside, I realized that I was coughing. Ugh. My cough sounds super congested and disgusting. I am so sick of being sick!! Grrrrrrrr!!!!

After 1.5 weeks absence from my internship, I finally went back to the high school. I was very excited about going back there. But, I didn’t see any students walking on the street on the way to the school, which was very very odd. Usually, there are tons of students walking or being dropped off by the school. I thought I was late, but well, I wasn’t. When I got into the school, there was no student neither! I was like “what the hell is going on??” Well, it turned out that today was half day. All juniors were talking PSAT from the morning, and other students didn’t have to come in till 11am. Ugh! I could sleep in…

When I entered the drop in center, I noticed that there was a card on the white board. The card was actually for me!! It was “get better soon and get your butt back here Ken” card! Oooooooh!! I was very very very touched by the hand-made get well card! I guess I am doing alright there! All kids were like “Oooh Keeeen!! You are baaaaaaaaaaack!” Well, one of kids accused me being faking the ill. Hahaha, so much love.

I saw the presidential debate tonight. Ummm, I feel really sorry to people have to vote. I was not impressed by neither of them. Kerry kept saying “I have a plan.” Bush kept saying “the records show blah blah blah~, he is too liberal!” Seriously, aren’t there any better things to discuss about? I did not like ambiguity of the debate. Umm, but I do think Kerry did better job than Bush in the series of debates. Well, I don’t have a right to vote, so I can say whatever I want!

It’s about the time. I started emailing professors at various universities to see if they are taking any phd students for the next Fall. I must say, I was really really fortunate to work with Dr. Thelen who was my mentor at IU. Almost all of the professors I emailed have worked with her, and it was soooooo easy for me to introduce myself and letting them know what kinda research I have done and am interested in. Yay!

One of professors was interested in reading my senior thesis, so I was trying to find one in my hard disk & CD-ROMs. Well, I couldn’t find it…. Seriously, I checked every CD-ROMs I have, but no disk contained my thesis!! Where is my thesis!! I really need to find one! Ugh! I guess I make too many backups. I even make backup copies of porn! You know, you never know whats gonna happen to your precious data. But, since I have so many data, my thesis got lost somehow!! Geeezzz, I really really do not want to go over all backup data...

Ah, I found my thesis!! Yaaaay! After searching all my porn collections, I was able to locate the CD contains my thesis data! It took me two days… Yep, I have the way too many porn!!

I was feeling well in this morning. So, I went to the gym and ran. It was good. I ran about 6 miles on treadmill and had great time. I hadn’t been running for almost a month, so it was fun and goodie goodie!!

Grrrrr. Tired. I am just tired. Recovering from pneumonia isn’t fun. I get easily tired and I cannot do anything! My energy level is super low, and even lower than Sweet’N Low!! Ugh!

In the class, we learned about eating disorder. I was checking some signs of eating disorder and started thinking I might have one. Ummmm. Well, Courtney was telling me that I am just careful about what I eat and how I eat. Exactly! As ex-fat boy, I am very conscious about my eating and excising stuff!

I think I don’t like my supervisor. Ugh. Kinda sux. I really think she is great counselor, but not so great when it comes to supervise interns. Ummm. Yikes.

There is a thief in my apartment building, and he took my package from urban outfitters!! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!! I ordered levis jeans and converse shoes from urbn.com, and it was delivered on 21st, but there was no package when I checked!! Damnit! Where the hell is my package!! I am super pissed off!! I cannot even describe how mad I am!! Seriously, I can kill a person who took my precious package!!

Well, other than losing the package, I am having fairly good weekend. I went to the gym in this afternoon and ran 7 miles. I cleaned my room, and I worked on my homework for a while. Maybe I will play some pokemon tonight. Since I am broke as hell, I am not going to buy anything!! It’s a good thing.

By the way, yesterday was my 8th anniversary. What’s the occasion? Well, 8 years ago from yesterday, I came to the U.S. for the first time! It has been 8 years…..scary. No wonder I am old and crappy!!

Candieeees! Halloween = candies! It is one of the most dangerous days of the year! I was pretty out of control on Friday because there were so many candies at the high school. A lot of students were dressing up, and it was really fun to watch them. For myself, I dressed up as a soldier who attached the Pearl Harbor! Well, I was gonna dress up as gothic I hate the world dude, but I changed my mind in the last minute and got military thingy. Erin and I went to the party at John Barleycorn in Wrigleyville. It was $25 open bar deal, so of course, I did drink a lot! Erin dressed as Britney Spear which was very popular costume among girls. She was bitching about other girls dress like her, but I think she did have a good time cos she made out with a guy! Woohoo!! It was so funny to see her like that because she is super conservative girl!

Because I had so many alcohol, I wasn’t really functioning today. I am still working on my case presentation for tomorrow and have no idea if I can finish it! Damn Halloween!!
