I think I got a cold. I wasn’t feeling well last Wednesday, but kinda felt better after I took Tylenol. But, it all came back on Friday. I thought maybe if I excised, my cold would go away. So, I went to the gym Friday morning and ran for about 30 min. After I came back from the gym, I felt crap! So, I went to Walgreen to get some meds. Did you know you have to show ID to purchase cold medicine (over the counter ones)? Well, I didn’t know. You can only buy those medicines during pharmacy hours. But, well, the Walgreen I went to, its pharmacy wasn’t opened yet. So, I asked the girl works there when the pharmacy opens. She said “oh well, the pharmacist hasn’t been here yet, so we cannot open the pharmacy.” Well, great. I really really wanted to buy cold medicines, so I had to drive to another Walgreen! It’s all because of crystal meth! Stupid easy to make at home drug!!!

I spend the weekend in Chicago. I was in shock when I found out that I left my cell phone in my car! I was at the airport and tried to call Marc at the gate, then I realized I did not have my cell phone with me. I was soooo pissed. I had no idea how much I depend on this cell phone thingy!

So, I finally bought Nintendo DS today. I had been wanting to buy DS so I would be able to play Nintendogs. Good thing is that Nintendo made bundle set for DS and Nintendogs, so I had no choice but buy it. And good thing is my DS is special color! Yaaaaaaay!! And and it came with special nintendogs screen cleaner!! Yaaaay! And and, it came with special Nintendogs DS skin!! Yaaaay!!! So, I decided to get female German Shepard for my pup. I named her Momo. Momo means peach in Japanese, not dumpling you order at Tibetan restaurant. Momo is so cute and well, super cute! When I called her name, she came up to me and I was petting her! Then, I realized that 28 years old man, soon to be 29 years old, talking to the game alone in his apartment on Monday night is somewhat disturbing. So, I just took her walk and gave her food and water, then I turned off the game. When I tried to play with her after watching Medium, Momo was sleeping. Oh well.

I am so finally getting my sofa!! I ordered the sofa at Marshall Field’s two months ago, but I hadn’t heard back from the store at all. So, I called the lady took my order, and she told me that the maker is located in New Orleans and because of hurricane, my order was super delayed! Ugh. Stupid nature. The mother nature does not have a right to take away my sofa! But, good news is that my sofa has arrived to Marshall Field’s warehouse here. So, now what I need to do is that to arrange the delivery! I am so happy!

Momo is still super cute, and I even brought my DS to the school so I could play with her! She is the cutie!! Today, she learned spin!

I always hate couple weeks before the thanksgiving break. There are so many dues before Thanksgiving, and after Thanksgiving, finals are waiting for you. I really don’t get the meaning of Thanksgiving. You just go back to your home and eat until you pass out. Then, you realize you gain 10lb in just three days and freak out. But, since x’mas is a month away, you really don’t have a time to lose Thanksgiving weights. This year is no exception, I have several dues before Thanksgiving. Well, I guess I shouldn’t play video game, but I kinda already did. Next week, I have to buy Mario Kart DS and Dragon Quest VIII on Tuesday, so I better finish up assignments before Tuesday.

I saw Spongebob version of Gameboy Advance SP today! I am soooo getting this one because it’s Spongebob!!! It’s so cute!!!!! I am still taking good care of Momo. She is a good pup, but I am not sure if I am training her well. When I tried to make her lie down, she kept spinning around. Hmmm.

I called Marshall Field’s to arrange the delivery. I thought I would be getting my sofa in this weekend, but noooooooo! Earliest was next Thursday! Nonsense!!

It’s snowing. I guess it’s okay. It’s almost December, so it’s not unacceptable. But, you know what is unacceptable? The fact that it’s almost December! I am not allowing time to pass any faster! I feel I haven’t done anything in this semester.

I was really excited yesterday because Mario Kart DS came out. So, I left the lab early enough to play Mario Kart all afternoon. I stopped by EB Games thinking how fun it would be to play online. Then, well, I couldn’t buy the game. According to EB Games guy, the game would be out next day (means, today!). Huh. The last time I checked, the game was supposed to come out on Monday. I was pretty disappointed by me not able to get Mario Kart. So, I baked corn bread to make feel better. I think it worked.

So, today was the day. I pre-ordered the game when I went in yesterday, so I could make sure I was getting the game. It was raining and cold, but I stopped by the store and picked Mario Kart DS uuup!! 1up for Kenny! After I got back to my apt, I took out nintendogs (sorry Momo!), and started playing Mario Kart. When I tried to go online, I couldn’t access through the security setting I had with my router. So, I changed security setting and, then, I was able to access to the server. Tee-hee!! It was actually pretty easy to get connected. Playing Mario Kart online is super fun. I kinda suck at the game, but I still enjoyed being beaten! Of course, I did not forget about my beloved Momo. I did feed her and took her walk. She is still having trouble understanding “roll over.” But, she is adorable!!

I finally got a sofa! It took two months to get this sofa. It was kinda annoying that I had to skip a class on Thursday because my sofa was scheduled to deliver between 11am to 2pm, and if I rescheduled it, I probably wouldn’t be able to get my sofa until after the thanksgiving break. There was no way I could wait another week, so I skipped stats class and waited for my sofa to arrive. Good thing was that my sofa came before my stats class was over. So, I could justify myself skipping a class!! The sofa is actually bigger than I thought. It’s big enough to make me anxious about the time I move out from this apt. But, for now, I am so enjoying my new sofa. It’s fancy and lovely!!

I bought Dragon Quest VIII because the game came with demo version of FFXII. Well, of course, I did not buy this game just because I wanted to play demo disk. DQ is the best selling series in Japan. Everyone knows about the game and everyone has played it at least once in their life time. DQVIII is very nice looking game. Everything is 3D and well, I think I like it. But, one thing I don’t like about this game is that everything is 3D!!! Finding drug store in the town takes me forever!! Also, it is kinda sad that they changed the name of magic spells in English version. I guess I should have got Japanese version!!
