I do admit that I am not huge fan of professional sports. But, I do like college games. Of course, I am so gonna watch final four tomorrow (well, today!). But, thing is that there is speed skate world championship is going on here in Minneapolis over this weekend! Russ and I were freaking out when we found out about that today! I mean world-class skaters are actually on campus and doing whatever they are doing! So, we went to the arena if we could still buy tickets. We were freaking out more when we found out we could get in for free!! What we had to do was just show our student ID!! Sick!! It was really really cool to see speed skating people!

Although I was pretty tired in this evening, I went to the gym because I hadn’t been to the gym for several days. I must say it was kinda stupid idea. I was running as usual, but after 20 mins, I was not able to run! My legs just did not move forward. So, I just stepped out and was doing some stretching hoping to get back to the treadmill. But, once I sat down on the floor, I almost collapsed there! Tee-hee! I wasn't really sure what was going on, but I could feel my body got super heavy and my head was spinning like a mug! I think I was just sitting on the floor for good 10 minutes! On the way back to my apartment, I was thinking why I almost passed out. One possibility is that I didn't eat much today. I had power bar, diet coke, pretzels, and coffee, but didn't eat actual meal. So, maybe I was just hungry or something. Another possibility is that the experiment I am conducting right now. I have been running motion sickness study for past couple weeks, and every time I run the experiment, I get motion sick!! I am not supposed to get motion sick cos well, my subjects should get motion sick! I think I scheduled too many subjects, and my sensors are overused or something like that. Hmmm, maybe!

My week was pretty hectic. I cannot believe it is already April. How did it happen?? I am so much of need of time. One good thing is I am finally seeing the dermatologist! I called the dermatology clinic in the beginning of this semester, and the fastest available day was April 19th! Well, I called the clinic because I was having uncontrollable breakout after the winter break, but well, now I am kinda okay! But, since I waited for three months, I am so seeing the dermatologist! Times like these, I cannot help ordering proactive solution from Vanessa Willimas!

I was running the experiments pretty much all day on Friday. Thanks to stupid moving room, I was sooooo dizzy in the end of the day! I kinda need to start thinking about how I can analyze the data I have collected. But, well, I really need to learn Matlab more. After super busy Friday, I couldn't just go back to my apt. I had to go to the prof’s party from 7pm. So, after I came back my apt and took shower and changed (I did all within 30 minutes!), I drove back to the lab and picked up some people and drove to the prof’s house. I was soooooo tired and hungry and cranky, but other profs were there too, so I was just smiling and being funny silly Japanese kid. Timed like these, I am always thankful I studied counseling!

As usually, I was checking Nintendo website and found out Pokemon is coming to my town!! Yaaaaay!! I gotta go to the Mall of American on May 20th, so I can get the most popular 20 pokemons plus Celebi! Celebi!! Woohoo!! I am actually excited about the fact I am so getting Celebi!! CELEBI!! Times like these, I really feel I have no life outside of school!!

I wasn’t feeling well today. I guess I am in so Spring fever right now! Well, I must say it’s more like spring allergy fever! My eyes are super red and itchy, my nose are super stuffed, and I am having constant headache! Ugh!

As you may know, I recently switched to Mac. IntelMac indeed. Apple released software that can install WindowsXP into IntelMac. HA! Super! Since I didn't have a time to slipstream my copy of Windows, I wasn’t able to install Windows. Eeeeeeh, now, today was the day! I finally installed Windows into my lovely iMac! And, Windows works super duper great!! It was seriously effortless!! I feel ultra sorry for people had been working on “let’s install Windows to Mac” project people! I probably won’t use Windows that much, but it’s nice to have a option! It was very emotional when I saw Windows logo on my iMac!

I am so done with collecting data! And now, I gotta analyze data and write up abstract for the conference. The due day is May 15th... Can I do it? Well, I don't know!!

I must say this weekend was super sucky. I was supposed to get some drinks with some of people in the lab, but I totally ditched it. Although I was the one suggested that we should get some margarita, I realized I didn't wanna have drinks! Well, I guess I was just being anti-social or something. I only asked couple people, but these couple people brought other people including professors! I mean c’mon! I learned that I should only ask my fellow grad students out, not post-docs!

My allergy was full swing under this lovely weather. It has been really nice out, but I can totally feel all flowers and grasses and pollens, and well, I can feel spring! Eh. I hate Spring because Spring makes me really sick!

I needed to go to Target in this afternoon. Since I hasn't been to the gym for a while (I have been running outside), I thought it might be a good idea to do quick workout before going to Target. So, I went to the gym, but of course, the gym was closed. Then, of course, Target was closed! I mean, Easter is not Christmas. Why they have to close everything? Even 24 hours market was closed. Not everyone is Christian you know? I was very very annoyed by Easter. Bunny sucks.

I must say my weekend was super sucky again. I had to work on my paper over the weekend despite of super nice weather. I really didn't feel like bring back all materials (articles, books, etc etc) to my apt, so I had to go to my office to work on the paper. Ugh. Well, but at least, I am finishing up two days before the due day! Woohoo! The paper is about how we develop empathy, and I actually enjoyed writing it. Well, but, of course, enjoy writing it does not mean my writing is enjoyable to others!

It is pretty cool that I am almost done with this semester. This semester has been busy one, but I kinda liked it. I just cannot wait for the summer, so I get to read what I want to read! And I can play video games without feeling guilty!

I was playing animal crossing last night, and I didn’t win the fishing contest... The biggest one was 47.8inch and I got 47.7inch... I was so pissed and kept hitting a winner (some female goat) with bug net! Tee-hee! Well, I kinda felt bad after hitting her 30 times, so I wrote sorry letter, and today, she mailed me back with present. Ha! But, it was just orange! Cheap!!

So, I bought Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. It’s after story of FFVII which I loooooveed. It is kinda strange that they made a DVD movie instead of actual game. I really loved FFVII when it came out 10 years ago (wow!). The story was pretty solid, and of course, I cried couple times while I was playing the game! Aaanyway, Advent Children was well, okay. Visually, the CG was awesome. I think one of the best CG movies I have seen. But, the story was kinda sucky..., very Japanese. Although I played FFVII many times, I still had hard time what was going on in the movie. Ugh. I was kinda looking forward to see this movie, so I was super disappointed. Ugh!

This week is going to be bad week. I really have to work on things! No time for playing Nintendogs or Animal Crossing! Well, I will play anyway though. But, really! I kinda wasted today, so I must focus!

Yesterday, I talked to my dad and asked him if he could buy me new car. I really need new car because my car is getting old. But, cold cold my dad said no! What the hack! How the hell he could say no!? I asked him why he couldn't buy new car. He asked me back how much mileage my car has so far, so I told him that it’s about 45000 mi. Then, he said I should drive my car until the mileage hits 150000mi!! Crap! I think by the time my car hits 150000mi, I think I will have my PhD and be making some money! Ugh! Parent!
