Pata papta papta pon! Pon pon pata pon! Seriously, this game is so addictive. The game is pretty awesome, and it only costs $20 to get it. I thought this game would be cute-looking-so-girls-would-play-like-nintendogs kinda game. But, actually, the game is kinda tough! Althoug it’s rhythm game, you really pay attention to what patapons are doing. If not, your patapon will be “gakkari!” and die. The music (or chanting) keeps playing in my head all day today…

I actually got patapon and SSBB for free + $9 gift card at Bestbuy. How did I do it? Well, I am not telling. I just wanna say thanks to HDMI cable.

I am supposed to be done my preliminary exam by now, but I am still working on it. I did my written and oral, but well, they didn’t go so well. Good thing I didn’t get kicked out from the program!

Nice thing about being a student is you can get discount on most of computer related stuff including software. My school has some kinda licensing agreements with Microsoft, so I don’t have to pay a dime to get MS Office or Windows OS. Well, since I use Mac, I don’t really care about Windows, but I do use MS Office a lot, especially Excel. I really don't like Excel, but I have to use it to make a graph after I finish analyzing data. Good thing about Excel is I can edit graphs easily (much easier than SPSS…). So, I was hoping Office 08 (for Mac) would have more functions and features than previous version. But, I was freaking wrong! Sure it looks pretty and cute, but Excel 08 is such a downgrade!! It took me more than 2 hours to find out how to change x-value (horizontal axis)!! There was not option to choose x-value! I so don’t understand what the fuck MS people were thinking when they were making this piece of crap! I really really don’t understand this. I actually had to re-install previous Excel because Excel 08 is retarded! Now, I really hate MS…

I basically do not like Japanese Pop music. Most of Japanese pop singers cannot sing. Seriously, they cannot sing! When I was a high school student, so called “Komuro Families” were super popular. Komuro was a music producer, and musicians he produced just sold their CDs like hot cakes! Well, it was over 10 years ago, and I am pretty sure he is no longer “hot” producer… But, when I was checking Yahoo Japan other day, I saw the article about Amuro Namie. She was one of the Komuro family musicians and was extremely popular when I was a high school student. The article I read was about her taking a number one single sales. Obviously, it took nine years for her to come back to #1 position, and the article was praising her reinvention. She is no longer with Komuro, and now she is hip-hop/R&B singer… Hmmmm. I checked her songs on youtube, and well, I guess she is hip-hop/R&B in Japanese way… But, sure she is cute.

Obviously, her song is remix of what a feeling… Kinda nice.

While I was checking out Namie Amuro, I found Japanese girls techno pop band called Perfume. When I first saw their music video, I thought they were horrible. Then, when I saw them for the second time, I thought they were so awesome. Well, I don’t care much of their singing, but music is really good. I loooove cheap techno pop! It’s so addictive…

And these girls are from Hiroshima! Awesome!

I hate Word 08 as much as I hate Excel 08. The default format for Office 08 is xml. Why? I don't understand how many people actually benefit from xml format? You can even open the stupid files in previous version… Although Office 08 is unversal application, it’s so slow! I hate it! I hate Office 08!!

Speaking of slow, playstation network is slow! I was downloading Metal Gear Online beta, and well, it took me all night to download 1.5GB of file… First, I downloaded about 700 MB of file from PSN, then, when I started MGO, it asked me to download update version of the file which was again around 700MB. Funny thing is that the file was just available yesterday, and they already have version 1.01… And, since PSN is slow as hell, I made me think about the time I had a dial-up connection…

Today was so meaningless. I wasted my precious time just doing nothing. I was supposed to work on my prelim, but I couldn’t do anything. I even didn’t watch HSN! Well, I did watch a little bit, but that was it. I wasted my entire day listening to Perfume, and checking out their clips on youtube. So so so stupid. I don’t understand why I like this Japanese pop group. When I was on youtube, I found this clip, and it is super high quality.

I was so impressed how good the video look. So, I started searching how I can upload a video to youtube without sacrificing video quality. I found the site talking about how you can trick youtube and upload the high quality video. Then, I was trying to convert the video, so I could upload to youtube. Then, I realized that I shouldn’t waste my time playing with video and I should get back to study, so I stopped. Now, I am writing, but I am writing blog! I cannot wait to be released from this preliminary exam hell…
