Walking and I

I turned in my prelim exam last Friday, so I am finally released from this agonizing painful process. I still have to pass the exam, but, who cares, I turned it in!

Over the weekend, I played video games hell a lot. I mean A LOT! I was holding myself playing GTA4 which arrived to my doorstep last Monday. I ordered it couple weeks ago from Gamestop because I had a gift card. I thought the game would be here after I turned in my exam. But, well, I underestimated the delivering capability of USPS!! I think the game came less than a week after I ordered. I also bought Persona 3 FES too because I am a huge fan of the series. I played Persona 1 & 2 in Japanese, and I was so not sure if I should get U.S. version because the background of the series is Japanese high school. Indeed, the settings for all games are Japanese high school. I was kinda worried about English translation of the game, but actually, the game is pretty solid. I was surprised that they didn’t really translate Japanese words such as “senpai” or “-chan/-kun.” I am not sure how many American people know senpai means...

I found GTA4 to be quite fun. I looooove walking around the city in the game. Since the game is “Grand Theft Auto” you kinda have to get a car to do the missions, but you can still walk around if you want to. I was so impressed how much details on this game. Walking in this game is sooooo much fun. Also, you can take a train too!! So cool! I looooove taking a train to get around the city!! Same thing happened when I played Oblivion. I looooove walking in the game. It was so much fun. Since I keep walking in the game, I haven’t made much of progress on the missions… Ooh, and the online mode is so much fun too. I cannot believe the game costs only $60.
